The questions we are asked most often, answered plainly.

How soon can somebody come out?

Same day for most morning calls, next day otherwise. We book inside two-hour arrival windows rather than telling you to wait in all day, and you get a phone call if a technician is running behind.

How does the pricing work?

A diagnostic charge is quoted when you book. The technician tests the appliance, then gives you a flat price for the repair before anything is opened up. If you go ahead, the diagnostic charge is folded into that price. If you decide not to, the diagnostic charge is all you owe.

What warranty comes with the repair?

Thirty days on our work, printed on your invoice. The parts we install are covered by whatever warranty the manufacturer of that part provides. We do not quote longer periods than we can stand behind.

Do you work on my brand?

We service twenty-four manufacturers, listed in full on the brands page. If yours is not among them we will tell you on the phone rather than send somebody who would be learning on your appliance.

Is it worth repairing an older appliance?

It depends on the appliance rather than on its age alone. Built-in and professional equipment is engineered for twenty years or more, so repair is nearly always right. A mainstream machine past twelve years with a major failure often is not, and we will say so.

Do you repair air conditioning or heating?

No. We work on household kitchen and laundry appliances only. Anything involving cooling systems for the house, heating or ductwork is outside what we do, and we would rather say that than take on work we are not the right people for.
